Roosevelt edges Ballard 31-26

RHS - WR Dylan Jacobi accumulated 133 receiving yards and scored 1 touchdown to help Roosevelt to a 31-26 win over Ballard on Friday night at RHS.

The Roughriders also recieved impressive efforts from Joe Cantress who rushed 5 times for 111 yards and 2 touchdowns and QB Zach Joss who completed 11 passes for 133 yards and 1 touchdown.

Ballard's QB Owen Coutts threw for 35 yards and WR Eric Henderson picked up 231 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns.

The win helps Roosevelt improve to 1-1 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Roosevelt travels to Seattle, WA to face off against the Cleveland Eagles on Friday September 15 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
