Stanwood Spartans beat Mt. Spokane Wildcats 24-14 in Washington football game

Union Stadium - Stanwood Ryan Bumgarner picked up 233 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns to lead the Stanwood Spartans to a 24-14 win over the Mt. Spokane Wildcats on Friday night at Union Stadium in a football game.

The Spartans also received crucial efforts from Carson Beckt who rushed 11 times for 81 yards and Carson Bumgarner who rushed 3 times for 39 yards.

Mt. Spokane's quarterback TJ Haberman threw for 185 yards, wide receiver Ethan Keene picked up 26 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns and wide receiver Boden Gardner had 65 receiving yards.

The win helps Stanwood improve to 10-1 on the season while Mt. Spokane falls to 9-2. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
