Kelso defeats Evergreen 14-7

McKenzie - RB Max McDaniel accumulated 168 rushing yards and scored 1 touchdown to guide Kelso to a 14-7 win over Evergreen on Friday night at McKenzie.

The Hilanders also recieved major efforts from QB A.J. Hoggatt who completed 9 passes for 117 yards and WR Riley Noah who caught 2 passes for 48 yards.

Evergreen's threw for 71 yards, picked up 27 rushing yards and had 36 receiving yards.

The win helps Kelso improve to 6-2 on the season while Evergreen falls to 4-4. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Kelso will take on the Hudson's Bay Eagles at home on Friday October 27 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
