Heritage beats Battle Ground 28-21

McKenzie - Michael Taras picked up 153 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to lead Heritage to a 28-21 win over Battle Ground on Friday night at McKenzie.

The Timberwolves also recieved key efforts from Neithan Stanley who caught 1 pass for 63 yards and 1 touchdown and Kahai Umiamaka who caught 3 passes for 43 yards.

Battle Ground's QB Seth Workman threw for 53 yards, RB Brock Robinson picked up 204 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns and WR Boden Strouse had 39 receiving yards.

The win helps Heritage improve to 4-4 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
