Connell defeats Othello 28-10

Connell - QB Austin Smith picked up 129 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to lead Connell to a 28-10 win over Othello on Friday night.

The Eagles also recieved crucial efforts from RB Luis Ramos who caught 4 passes for 57 yards and 1 touchdown and RB Tristen Garland who rushed 14 times for 66 yards and 1 touchdown.

Othello's QB DJ Guzman threw for 31 yards, LB Trevor Hilmes picked up 63 rushing yards and Kyler k had 24 receiving yards.

With the loss, Othello falls to 0-1 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Othello travels to Royal City, WA to take on the Royal Knights on Monday September 11 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
