Clarkston edges Cheney 24-21

Cheney High School - QB Kaeden Frazier racked up 52 passing yards to guide Clarkston to a 24-21 win over Cheney on Friday night at Cheney High School.

The Bantams also received vital efforts from WR Alex Italia who caught 2 passes for 40 yards and RB Nate Savolainen who rushed 14 times for 38 yards and 1 touchdown.

Cheney's QB Cole Hinrichs threw for 73 yards and 1 touchdown, RB Charles Johnson picked up 76 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns and WR Alex Clark had 28 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Clarkston improve to 4-2 on the season while Cheney falls to 0-6. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Clarkston will take on the East Valley Knights at home on Friday October 13 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
