Post Falls beats Mead 54-40

Roos Field, Cheney - QB Nate Buer had 254 passing yards and threw for 4 touchdowns to lead Post Falls to a 54-40 win over Mead on Friday night at Roos Field, Cheney.

The Trojans also recieved impressive efforts from RB Braden Vaughan who rushed 14 times for 119 yards and 3 touchdowns and RB Quin Bennett who rushed 19 times for 89 yards and 1 touchdown.

Mead's QB Ryan Chan threw for 281 yards and 2 touchdowns, LB Kannon Katzer picked up 123 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and WR Michael Workman had 71 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

With the loss, Mead falls to 0-1 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Post Falls will take on the Lakeland Hawks at home on Friday September 22 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
