East Valley edges North Central 58-57

Albi Stadium - QB Christian Johnston racked up 336 passing yards and threw for 5 touchdowns to lead East Valley to a 58-57 win over North Central on Friday night at Albi Stadium.

The Knights also recieved key efforts from RB Aledre Bracey who rushed 11 times for 149 yards and 3 touchdowns and WR Rodrick Fisher who caught 9 passes for 156 yards and 3 touchdowns.

North Central's QB JT Healy threw for 242 yards and 2 touchdowns, RB Michael Stacy picked up 117 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns and QB Carter Delp had 207 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns.

With the loss, North Central falls to 0-1 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

East Valley will challenge the Lakeland Hawks at home on Friday September 8 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

North Central travels to Cheney, WA to face off against the Cheney Blackhawks on Friday September 8 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
