Mead cruises by Shadle Park 63-13

Joe Albi Stadium - QB Ryan Chan racked up 309 passing yards and threw for 5 touchdowns to guide Mead to a 63-13 win over Shadle Park on Thursday night at Joe Albi Stadium.

The Panthers also recieved impressive efforts from LB Kannon Katzer who rushed 11 times for 125 yards and 2 touchdowns and WR Lucas Bacon who caught 2 passes for 98 yards and 1 touchdown.

Shadle Park's QB Carson Doyle threw for 136 yards, RB Xavier Wicks picked up 111 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns and WR Xavier Atkins had 49 receiving yards.

The win helps Mead improve to 2-2 on the season while Shadle Park falls to 1-2. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Mead travels to Spokane, WA to face off against the Ferris Saxons on Friday September 29 at 7:30pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Shadle Park will take on the Gonzaga Prep Bullpups at home on Friday September 29 at 5:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
