Columbia River edges Washougal 3-0

Columbia River - QB Mathew Asplund picked up 32 passing yards to guide Columbia River to a 3-0 win over Washougal on Monday night.

The Chieftains also recieved key efforts from WR Kanen Eaton who caught 1 pass for 32 yards and RB Koben Jamison who rushed 2 times for 6 yards.

Washougal's Ryan Stevens threw for 12 yards, RB Kade Coons picked up 23 rushing yards and Dalton Payne had 9 receiving yards.

With the loss, Washougal falls to 6-5 on the season. Tonight’s game was the second matchup between the two teams. In the previous game Friday September 15, Washougal came out in front, 3-0.
