Ephrata defeats Cashmere 22-7

Kiwanis Field - QB Trenton Kleyn accumulated 220 passing yards and threw for 3 touchdowns to help Ephrata to a 22-7 win over Cashmere on Friday night.

The Tigers also received key efforts from WR Josh Benthem who caught 4 passes for 107 yards and 2 touchdowns and QB Seth Elliot who caught 3 passes for 41 yards.

Cashmere's QB Sam Phillips threw for 129 yards and 1 touchdown, RB Aster Dotson picked up 30 rushing yards and Ryan cooper had 102 receiving yards.

The win helps Ephrata improve to 1-0 on the season while Cashmere falls to 0-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Ephrata travels to Leavenworth, WA to face off against the Cascade Kodiaks on Friday September 7 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
