Mead Panthers crushes Ferris Saxons 26-0 in Washington high school football game

Union Stadium - Mead High School running back CALEB SHAWEN accumulated 90 rushing yards and scored 1 touchdown to guide the Mead Panthers to a 26-0 win over the Ferris Saxons on Friday night at Union Stadium in a high school football game.

The Panthers also received helpful efforts from quarterback JO SONNICHSEN who completed 4 passes for 63 yards and 1 touchdown and wide receiver CARSON TUCKER who caught 3 passes for 54 yards and 1 touchdown.

Ferris' quarterback Paxton Page threw for 77 yards, linebacker Kruz Wheeler picked up 46 rushing yards and wide receiver Anthony Aguirre had 54 receiving yards.

The win helps Mead improve to 2-2 on the season while Ferris falls to 1-3. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Mead will face off against the Cheney Blackhawks at home on Friday March 26. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
