Mt. Spokane Wildcats beat Ferris Saxons 21-7 in Washington football game

Union Stadium - Mt. Spokane wide receiver Tyler Alm accumulated 90 rushing yards and scored 1 touchdown to lead the Mt. Spokane Wildcats to a 21-7 win over the Ferris Saxons on Friday night in a football game.

The Wildcats also received vital efforts from quarterback Colby Danielson who rushed 9 times for 44 yards and 1 touchdown and fullback Hudson Gilbert who rushed 6 times for 31 yards and 1 touchdown.

Ferris' quarterback Paxton Page threw for 175 yards and 1 touchdown, linebacker Kruz Wheeler picked up 114 rushing yards and wide receiver Anthony Aguirre had 103 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Mt. Spokane improve to 2-1 on the season while Ferris falls to 1-2. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Mt. Spokane travels to Spokane, WA to take on the Shadle Park Highlanders on Saturday March 13. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
