Nooksack Valley High School defeats Anacortes 45-38

Nooksack - Nooksack Valley High School's Katrina Gimmaka led all scorers with 15 points as the Pioneers beat Anacortes 45-38 in a game at Nooksack."

Gimmaka's points came on 6 field goals and 3 of 5 free throws during the game.

Anacortes was led by Gabby Ronngren's 14 points and Melissa Frein added 8. Anacortes fell to 0-0 overall while Nooksack Valley High School improved their record to 2-3.

Nooksack Valley High School will travel to Blaine High School on Friday Dec. 16 at 5:30pm to play Blaine.
