Medical Lake High School - Freeman Guard Taylee Phelps led the way with 16 points as the Scotties beat Medical Lake Cardinals 49-45 in a game at Medical Lake High School.

Phelps' points came on 3 field goals, 3 three pointers and 1 of 1 free throws during the game.

Charde Luat added 19. Medical Lake fell to 7-12 overall while Freeman improved their record to 16-4.

Medical Lake's next game is scheduled to be played at Lakeside High School on Thursday Feb. 2 versus Lakeside.
