Hayes defeats Horace Mann 60-47

John Adams Middle School - Hayes' Jaimelle Claytor led all scorers with 19 points as the Hornets beat Horace Mann 60-47 in a game at John Adams Middle School."

Claytor's points came on 7 field goals, 1 three pointer and 2 of 3 free throws during the game.

Horace Mann was led by Shawn James' 15 points and Kj Taylor added 13. Horace Mann fell to 0-1 overall while Hayes improved their record to 1-0.

Hayes will travel to John Adams Middle School on Tuesday Feb. 21 at 5:30pm to play Dunbar.
