Holmen Vikings crushes Tomah Timberwolves 62-0 in WI high school football game
Holmen - Holmen High School quarterback Alex Berget had 147 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to help the Holmen Vikings to a 62-0 win over the Tomah Timberwolves on Friday night in a high school football game.
The Vikings also received key efforts from running back Jack Barth who rushed 5 times for 136 yards and 3 touchdowns and running back Jin Xiong who rushed 2 times for 61 yards and 1 touchdown.
Tomah's defensive back Jackson Steffel threw for 39 yards, linebacker Timothy Budde picked up 32 rushing yards and linebacker Adam Brieske had 23 receiving yards.
The win helps Holmen improve to 4-1 on the season while Tomah falls to 1-4. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
Holmen travels to Sparta, WI to take on the Sparta Spartans on Friday September 27. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
