Holmen Vikings crushes Baraboo Thunderbirds 31-0 in WI high school football game

Baraboo - Holmen High School running back Jack Barth had 152 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns to guide the Holmen Vikings to a 31-0 win over the Baraboo Thunderbirds on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Vikings also received helpful efforts from quarterback Alex Berget who rushed 12 times for 87 yards and 2 touchdowns and running back John Faherty who rushed 8 times for 38 yards.

Baraboo's wide receiver Elliott Romberg threw for 33 yards, running back Jackson Puttkamer picked up 68 rushing yards and running back Ethan Huelsemann had 20 receiving yards.

The win helps Holmen improve to 3-1 on the season while Baraboo falls to 0-4. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Holmen will take on the Tomah Timberwolves at home on Friday September 20. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Baraboo travels to La Crosse, WI to challenge the La Crosse Central Red Raiders on Friday September 20. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
