Medford Raiders beat Holmen Vikings 26-13 in Wisconsin high school football game
Holmen - Medford High School Paxton Rothmeier had 177 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns to help the Medford Raiders to a 26-13 win over the Holmen Vikings on Friday night in a high school football game.
The Raiders also received impressive efforts from Parker Lissner who completed 10 passes for 181 yards and 2 touchdowns and Evan Wilkins who rushed 6 times for 13 yards.
Holmen's quarterback Alex Berget threw for 37 yards, running back Jack Barth picked up 100 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and wide receiver Jaren Nygren had 37 receiving yards.
The win helps Medford improve to 1-0 on the season while Holmen falls to 0-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
Medford will take on the Onalaska Hilltoppers at home on Friday August 30. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
