Gomez will bat leadoff Monday night as the Brewers open a four-game series against the Miami Marlins.

The centerfielder was expected to miss extended time of potentially a couple of weeks, but was able to pinch hit during Sunday's game against the Cardinals and singled.
Gomez is hitting .283 with 21 home runs and 66 RBI this season. He was named an All-Star in both 2013 and 2014.
