Tigers place P Justin Verlander on disabled list
The Detroit Tigers placed veteran pitcher Justin Verlander on the 15-day disabled list with a right triceps strain, the team announced Wednesday.
The move was made retroactive to March 29, two days after Verlander left the Tigers' spring training game in the third inning with cramps in his right triceps.
