Curt Schilling will return to ESPN for MLB playoffs
Curt Schilling will make his return to ESPN’s baseball coverage for the MLB postseason, the analyst told reporters on Sunday.
Schilling was suspended from the network after sending a tweet on Aug. 25 that contained a meme comparing Muslims and Nazis.
The image showed Adolf Hitler with supposed statistics comparing the number of Nazi sympathizers in Germany to the percentage of modern Muslim extremists. Schilling deleted it after a few minutes. He had posted the same image on his Facebook page earlier that day.
ESPN called the tweet ”completely unacceptable” and Schilling later apologized calling it a “bad decision.”
Schilling has one year remaining on his contract with the network.
ESPN has confirmed Schilling’s return.
