Los Angeles Angels superstar Mike Trout has undeniably held the title of the league's best player for a significant portion of the past decade. Despite being 31 years old, he continues to be regarded as one of the game's top players. Trout's dominance has been a constant presence throughout his 13-year career, even if he is no longer considered the undisputed best.

Still, it's not like Trout is a slouch now, and MLB expert Joel Reuter recognizes that as he's acknowledged Trout and ranked him as the top center fielder in the league for the first two months of the season.

No. 1 Spot: With a 143 OPS+ that includes 11 doubles, 12 home runs and 1.7 WAR in 51 games, it has been business as usual for Mike Trout this season, though the gap between him and everyone else at the position has seemingly narrowed. The 31-year-old sits at 84.0 career WAR, and he recently surpassed Ken Griffey Jr. (83.8) on the all-time list.

This recognition comes as no surprise, considering Trout's remarkable track record. Currently, he boasts a slash line of .278/.369/.522 with an impressive .891 OPS. While his OPS might be lower compared to previous years, it still stands at an All-Star level.

To consider an OPS in the high 800s low is a testament to how great Trout has been for his entire career. It goes to show that he has set high standards for himself in his career, as he remains superior to approximately 90% of the league.

The righty slugger is still doing his thing with the Halos, and at this point, we shouldn't be surprised. He's accomplished all he could for himself and hopes to get some team accomplishments soon.
