Six seasons into his career and Angels superstar Shohei Ohtani is already shown to be one of the best baseball players ever. Ohtani can do it all on the field, and even though hitting has been his strongest suit, you wouldn't be able to tell this season.

The 28-year-old two-way superstar is on a tear on the mound to start the season, and he continues to shine, breaking a Halos record.

Ohtani broke Angels legend Nolan Ryan's record for the most consecutive starts as an Angel with no more than two runs allowed.

The last time Ohtani allowed more than two hits was on August 21 against the Detriot Tigers, where he went four innings and allowed five hits and three earned runs. Since then, Ohtani has been on another level; this season, he's been on another stratosphere.

Through three games, Ohatni is 2-0 with a 0.47 ERA (yes, you read that right) with 24 strikeouts and a 0.95 WHIP in 19 innings. Shotime has always been a great pitcher since entering the league, but he's reaching new heights this season. Ohtani on the hill is almost a guarantee the Halos will get the dub.

If Ohtani can keep up his dominance, an AL Cy Young award will be in his future.
