If someone is heading into a game having posted a 7.89 ERA in the season thus far and feels an some injury of some sorts early on, the plausible next step would be to tel your coach know.

Jose Suarez thought otherwise and it led to him giving up seven runs on six hits and three walks while only striking out three batters. The Angels lost their second straight game and dropped an important series to the Texas Rangers in horrible fashion with the final score being 16-8.

Suarez is now heading to the IL with his shoulder injury and is set to receive an MRI but on top of that, he has to deal with a fanbase that is very disappointed in his play and dishonesty.

Everybody thought that Suarez had finally turned over a new leaf after he had a stellar performance against the Milwaukee Brewers about a week ago. He allowed just two hits with no runs and struck out six batters, easily his best performance of the year. However, after Sunday's atrocity, he is now sitting at 9.62 ERA with 24 home runs given up in six starts.

The 25-year-old LHP reflected on his decision to remain in the game through his discomfort in his postgame interview and gave some reasoning.

“I thought I could hold on through the pain and I wanted to pitch, but I couldn’t,” he said through an interpreter.

LA will now make their way through the rest of their rotation meanwhile Suarez finds out just how bad his injury is. The scary part on his end, outside of just his shoulder, is that he's been given numerous opportunities this year to shine and has folded all but once.

Team manager Phil Nevin has appeared to display all the trust in the world in him but even he will start to grow impatient after some time.
