The offseason is in full swing for the Angels, as the team outrighted six players on Monday, including Jared Walsh, Jaime Barria and Brett Phillips.
In other news, Shohei Ohtani was nominated for MLB Player of the Year and American League Outstanding Player of the Year in the 2023 Players Choice Awards.
Time will tell if Ohtani will return to Anaheim. Free agency begins five days after the World Series ends.
