Wednesday, August 23 was by far the worst day of the Angels season, and likely one of the worst in the franchise's history.

Not only did they lose both games of the doubleheader and get swept by the Cincinnati Reds, but their best two players and greatest stars had huge injury announcements revealed by general manager Perry Minasian.
