Angels Notes: Shohei Ohtani Update, Mixed Reactions to Nevin's Departure, More Changes Likely Coming

The Angels GM had a candid conversation with Shohei Ohtani.

By far the biggest storyline heading into the offseason is what team will earn Shohei Ohtani's coveted signature in free agency. The likely AL MVP is rumored to be considering staying in Anaheim, but at this point nothing is certain. 

Angels general manager Perry Minasian had a conversation with Ohtani, which could be telling in where he will end up signing.
