Astros' McCullers to Make Rehab Appearance for Triple-A Sugar Land

Houston Astros' starting pitcher Lance McCullers Jr. will continue his rehab assignment for the Space Cowboys this week.

Lance McCullers Jr. will continue his major league rehab assignment with Triple-A Sugar Land on either Wednesday or Thursday, Houston Astros general manager James Click said Sunday on SportsTalk 790.

The Space Cowboys continue a road trip this week, picking up a six-game set with the Oklahoma City Dodgers. McCullers threw two innings for Double-A Corpus Christi on Friday with three strikeouts in the first frame.
