Astros Prospect Solomon Named Pacific Coast League Pitcher of the Month
Minor League Baseball named Houston Astros prospect Peter Solomon PCL Pitcher of the Month for July on Friday.

The Sugar Land Space Cowboys announced Friday Peter Solomon won Pacific Coast League Pitcher of the Month for July. The right-hander was also named Space Cowboys' July Player of the Month on Monday.
Solomon recorded a 2.30 ERA (first in the PCL) and a 1.06 WHIP (third in the PCL) through five July appearances. The 25-year-old was the first Space Cowboy to earn PCL Player of the Month honors this season.
Solomon also appeared Friday in relief. The righty tossed four one-run innings on six hits and a walk to five strikeouts, securing his sixth win of the 2022 season.
