Three bold predictions for the Atlanta Braves vs the Miami Marlins

The Atlanta Braves have a chance to have a great weekend against the Miami Marlins.

The Atlanta Braves host the Miami Marlins this weekend and it could end up being huge for either team.

Any NL East series will hold importance but Atlanta has a prime chance to really solidify a lead in the division this weekend. The Braves currently hold a six-game lead for the NL East ahead of the Marlins, a series win, or even a sweep, would extend their lead drastically as the All-Star break approaches. Of course, the Marlins could also close the gap in the division is the series goes that direction.

The Braves are one of the hottest teams in baseball and have a chance to close out an incredible June with a series against Miami.

Here are three bold predictions for this weekend.

Jun 4, 2023; Phoenix, AZ, USA; Atlanta Braves Michael Soroka (40) pitches against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field
Jun 3, 2023; Phoenix, Arizona, USA; Atlanta Braves right fielder Ronald Acuna Jr. (13) bats against the Arizona Diamondbacks during the first inning at Chase Field. Mandatory Credit: Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports
Jun 20, 2023; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA; Atlanta Braves right fielder Ronald Acuna Jr. (13) and shortstop Orlando Arcia (11) celebrate a victory against the Philadelphia Phillies at Citizens Bank Park.

Check out a tad deeper dive into these conversations on a video we put up yesterday discussing the series and some bold predictions ahead of it.
