WATCH: Sam Hilliard can do EVERYTHING

Find you an outfielder who can do both - the Atlanta Braves did with Sam Hilliard.

Seems like we are on a run of firsts: Sean Murphy hit his first home run as an Atlanta Brave just days ago. Now it was time for Sam Hilliard to get his first long shot with the squad.

The Atlanta Braves are taking on the Kansas City Royals on the road and they continue to be able to put up runs.

In a game filled already filled with multiple homers, Hilliard wanted to join the party.

Shortly after the scoring continued in the top of the second, Hilliard continued his impressive showing with an incredible catch to shut down the Royals in the second.

Hilliard has an opportunity to seize more playing time - with centerfielder Michael Harris II expected back soon, Hilliard has a chance to get some run in left field. If he continues to flash both the glove and the bat, he'll stay in the lineup.

Go off Hilliard!

Game two of the series is Saturday, Jackie Robinson Day, with a 4:10 ET first pitch. The game broadcast, with Voice of the Braves Brandon Gaudin, is available inside Braves Country on Bally Sports South and is available on MLB.TV outside of the broadcast area. The radio call, with Ben Ingram, is available locally on 680 AM/93.7 FM The Fan or outside the Atlanta market on the Atlanta Braves Radio Network or MLB.com.
