WATCH: Ronald Acuña and Sean Murphy hit bombs late in Arlington

Ronald Acuña Jr hit a homerun for the third consecutive game to make the deficit a bit smaller

Atlanta was facing a 6-1 deficit to open the 8th inning.

Ronald Acuña Jr. decided that deficit was too large.

The precocious superstar ambushed a 1-0 sinker for a 455 foot homerun to center field to narrow the deficit somewhat.

The homerun was Acuña's 10th of the season, driven out at 114.8 mph, which brings him closer to the 40/40 pace he stated he wanted to be on for the 2023 season. As of now, Ronald sits at 10 homeruns and 17 steals through 41+ games, putting him on track to finish with just about 39 homeruns and 66 stolen bases in a 162-game season

Right behind him, Sean Murphy hit a shot of his own. Murphy's bomb comes with a runner on, as Matt Olson was hit by a pitch to put a runner on for the catcher Murphy, who ambushed the first pitch to make it a 6-4 game late.

Murphy's bomb was his tenth of the season, and the Braves finished the top of the 8th inning down with the deficit narrowed to just two runs.
