WATCH: Sean Murphy stays hot and doubles in a run to start the game
To open Thursday's game three, Ronald Acuña Jr was standing on first base thanks to an atrocious error by Marlin’s first baseman Yuli Gurriel on a routine pop-up. Sean Murphy does what Sean Murphy does to fastballs lately and brings him home to open the game:
The stand-up double was just a fraction of a hair from being a dinger. The Braves took the lead as Ronald Acuña Jr fl around the bases and got Murphy his 25th RBI of the season as they touch Marlin’s starter Luzardo for the first run of the game.
Unfortunately, Dylan Dodd, the Braves starter allowed a infield single then allowed a blast to deep left from Jorge Soler to let the Marlins take the lead 2-1 going into the second inning at Loan Depot Park.
Where to catch the Braves next!
