WATCH: Spencer Strider returns to form against the Phillies

The Atlanta ace has pitched well against the Phils in his career, and he looked like his usual self tonight

The blistering Braves' offense didn't show up until the later innings tonight, but after a run of subpar outings (13 runs in the last nine innings), Spencer Strider got back in the saddle in a big way tonight.

The Phillies did bang out eight hits off Strider tonight, but he was able to dance around the baserunners and hold a hot offense to just one run. And the strikeouts, the velocity, the life we're used to seeing from Spencer, all that was right back to what we're used to seeing.

The game is still in the late innings. The TV broadcast, with Voice of the Braves Brandon Gaudin, is available inside Braves Country on Bally Sports South and is available on TBS and MLB.TV outside of the broadcast area. The radio call, with Ben Ingram, is available locally on 680 AM/93.7 FM The Fan or outside the Atlanta market on the Atlanta Braves Radio Network or MLB.com.
