Cody Bellinger Just Made One of the Most Incredible Plays You'll See Against Dodgers
In the second inning of Saturday night's contest between the Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Dodgers, one of the most incredible plays of the season happened.
Tied 0-0, the Dodgers had a man on base and former Cub Jason Heyward came to the plate. Heyward put a great swing on a Jameson Taillon offspeed pitch and hit it to dead center field.
A clear home run.
Except what should have been a two-run home run for the lead, ended up being the first out of the inning for Los Angeles.
Center fielder Cody Bellinger made a leaping catch to rob Heyward's home run from over the fence to keep it scoreless.
Bellinger read the ball all the way and made a beautiful play to preserve the tie.
A former Dodger himself, Bellinger received some heckling from the fans in the stand after the play.
Give the incredible play a look for yourself.
