The Chicago Cubs will try and even up the series at 1-1 with the St. Louis Cardinals on Tuesday evening at Wrigley Field. The Cardinals took Monday's game 3-1 as Wilson Contreras made his return to Chicago for the first time since departing in free agency.

Contreras turned total heel and played the villain on Monday night in front of a boisterous Cubs crowd.

However, Chicago should have a good shot to get one back against the cellar-dwelling Cardinals on Tuesday as Jameson Taillon takes the mound. He will face Jack Flaherty of St. Louis.

On paper, it's a great matchup the Cubs should take advantage of.

First pitch is scheduled for 6:40 p.m. CT.

Tuesday's game will be televised in the local Chicago market on the Marquee Sports Network. It will also be streamed live on MLB.tv for those who reside outside the market.
