How to Watch Chicago Cubs and Padres Wednesday, Channel, Live Streams and Lineups
The Chicago Cubs added a statement win to their 2023 MLB season resume on Tuesday night when they shutout the San Diego Padres and won in 6-0 fashion.
The Padres coming into the season were seasoned as juggernauts who were favorites to appear in the World Series. The Cubs were seen as a team who might be able to contend in a crowded National League Central.
Shutting out a team like that goes a long way in gaining some confidence and boosting morale for Chicago!
They will get the chance to go for the series win on Wednesday. Drew Smyly (2-1, 3.13 ERA) will take the mound for the Cubs and will face Michael Wacha (2-1, 7.08) of the Padres. On paper, it's a great matchup for Chicago.
First pitch is at 6:40 p.m. CT.
Wednesday's game will be televised in the local Chicago market on the Marquee Sports Network. It will also be streamed live on MLB.tv for those who reside outside the market.
