The Chicago Cubs are trying to shift their momentum in a positive direction this weekend when they travel and take on the Minnesota Twins

The Cubs are coming off of a series loss to the St. Louis Cardinals in which they were able to salvage a win in the final game of three. 

The Twins (21-17) have been a very strong team this season and lead the American League Central divsion. 

Chicago will have their work cut out for them. 

Drew Smyly will take the mound for the Cubs as he looks to continue to streak of dominance. He will face the Twins' Sunny Gray who is undefeated this season and owns a miniscule 1.35 ERA.

First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. CT. 

The game will be shown nationally on Apple TV+ as part of their Friday Night Baseball program.
