The Chicago Cubs could get a huge boost to their offense and lineup on Friday night against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Cubs general manager Carter Hawkins said on 670 The Score that he expects Suzuki to be back with the club on Friday.

Suzuki's return would provide an immeasurable boost to an offense that has been feast or famine to start the season. Having him back in the lineup healthy will help stabilize the offense.

Of course that means a player will have to be removed from the 26-man roster with names such as Miles Mastrobuoni, Edwin Rios, Nick Madrigal and Luis Torrens leading the way as candidates.

It's unclear whether or not Suzuki will be in the lineup on Friday night, but if Chicago wants their best shot at winning against the Dodgers, he should be on the docket.

Regardless, at the very least we should see some Suzuki action this weekend, why else fly him out to the West Coast?
