The Iowa Cubs improved to 6-2 on the season with an 11-2 victory over St. Paul on Sunday. Caleb Kilian made his second start of the year. The 25-year-old danced around three walks, allowing one run on four hits over four innings while fanning one batter as well.

The South Bend Cubs improved to 3-0 for the first time ever with a 2-1 victory over the Quad Cities River Bandits. Brandon Birdsell, the team's fifth-round pick in the 2022 MLB draft, made his pro debut, striking out four batter across three innings while walking a pair.
