The Diamondbacks have announced they have invited 28 non-roster players to big league Spring Training.

Of the 28 players invited to camp, seven are on my current list of Top 30 prospects in the organization. The list is highlighted by Brandon Pfaadt and Jordan Lawlar, consensus Top 100 prospects and the No. 2 and 3 prospect in my Top 10 list. Five more players suited up for the D-backs or one of their minor league affiliates in 2022. Earlier this week, Jack Sommers profiled four of the prospectsĀ invited to camp.

Previously this week, Jack Sommers profiled some of the relievers Arizona will be inviting to camp. The D-backs will need a better performance from their bullpen if they have any hopes of competing in 2023. It will be interesting to see who emerges from this position group.

Spring Training is just around the corner, as pitchers and catchers will report officially on the 15th and the first full squad workout will be on the 20th. Make sure to head over to the D-backs Spring Training facility at Salt River Fields.Ā
