The Diamondbacks won the National League Championship in 2023 in a magical postseason run for the ages. Advancing to the World Series for the first time since 2001, they fell just short of winning it all.

It was a season of many twists and turns, and we here at Inside The Diamondbacks helped to chronicle the year all along the way.  We present here links to stories summarizing each player's year, counting down one a day by reverse ranking in aWAR, which is the average of Baseball Reference and Fangraphs WAR.

No matter the ranking, every player that appears here  had a chance to participate in a most successful season. It takes an entire organization  of players pulling in the same direction to get as far as the Diamondbacks did. Here are their stories.
