The Dodgers' addition of two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani has taken the team by storm this offseason. While Los Angeles has always been one of the top teams in the league, they are now entering a new tier with Ohtani.

This is both on and off the field, where Ohtani has drawn massive media attention. He is the biggest star in the game today, so it makes sense why many want to capture his every moment.

His teammates understand that it may take some time to get used to, but they seem to be all for it. Starting pitcher Walker Buehler loves the idea of having Ohtani and thinks it's great for the game of baseball.

He had an interesting comparison for the hype that Ohtani has been getting.

“It kind of becomes a little bit more like a football Sunday every day,” Buehler said. “I think it’s great for us as a team, great for a lot of the guys on our team that are going to get more attention for what they do and for our team as well. … I think it’s good for the game to be covered in this way. We’re fortunate to have it here.”

The game of baseball only stands to continue growing with Ohtani being the main talking point. He is one of the most popular athletes worldwide, and the Dodgers and MLB continue to benefit.

Signing Ohtani was a move that stands to help Los Angeles all across the board, and they are already reaping in the benefits. He brings a new sense of star power to the team, and the Dodgers are banking on him delivering on the field.
