Dodgers Teammate on Shohei Ohtani: 'This is a Talent That Might Come Once-A-Lifetime'
The Los Angeles Dodgers are The Beatles of the baseball world. No team will attract more fans, cameras, and attention than the Boys in Blue, and for that, they can thank two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani.
The 29-year-old has yet to hit or pitch for the Dodgers, but you wouldn't know based on the attention he's arleady received. Ohtani and the Dodgers are the talk of the town, and deservedly so. He's an unbelievable talent, and he's joining a team that's made 11 straight postseason appearances.
The Dodgers players and coaches are getting used to seeing Ohtani in their uniform, with manager Dave Roberts recently saying he still needs to pinch himself when he spots the two-way star.
On Wednesday, veteran infielder Miguel Rojas spoke to reporters, and went as far as calling Ohtani a "once-a-lifetime" talent, saying it's a "privilege" to be on his team.
"This is a talent that might come once-a-lifetime. So this is a privilege for us, and especially for me as a player, to be in the same clubhouse as a player like him. I’m really happy I can call him my teammate. Having the opportunity to be on the same field with him ... it’s a privilege. I’m not going to take it for granted. I’m gonna enjoy the opportunity of playing with him, and hopefully we can get to celebrate together.”

Ohtani is truly one of one, as he's shattering records even the great Babe Ruth held for so many years. Ohtani has already transcended what a baseball player can do at the highest level possible, and he's done it in just six years.
For the first time in his career, though, he should get a chance to do it on a bigger stage. And even though he'll only be hitting in 2024, Ohtani and the Dodgers will be must-see tv every single night.
