Dodgers Notes: Mariachi Joe Kelly Hiding Jacket Away from Would-Be Thieves, Mookie Loves LA, 34 Forever

Friday was a day of celebration for the Dodgers. Not only did the club win its sixth game in a row, the iconic number 34, famously worn by franchise icon Fernando Valenzuela, was finally retired. In a ceremony at Dodger Stadium, Fernando was joined by friends, family, and former teammates to thank the Dodgers and the fanbase for the honor.
In other Dodgers news, Joe Kelly is fitting right back in with the club in his first week-plus since being traded back to LA. He also shared an important update on his infamous Mariachi jacket with SportsNet LA's Kirsten Watson.
"I do (still have it). My house is getting re-done, so it's in storage protected away, so nobody try to come rob my house. But yeah I do have it, of course."
Plus Mookie Betts really loves this edition of the Dodgers and a whole lot more.

Fernando Valenzuela brought a sense of pride to his native Mexico and captivated a fan base and a city with his talent and charisma in the summer of 1981.
