Not many MLB fans outside of Dodgers fans are happy with the additions Los Angeles made this offseason. It's clear the Dodgers won the offseason when they signed the best player in baseball, two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani

Ohtani chose L.A. over several teams, including their division rivals, the San Francisco Giants. One Giants player who expressed his unhappiness about the two-time AL MVP landing with the Dodgers was Giants ace Logan Webb.

Webb appeared on the Chris Rose Rotation, and said many Giants weren't happy with the outcome.

“I’ll be fine with this as long as he doesn’t go [to the Dodgers],” Webb said to Rose about what he thought before Ohtani made his decision.

Webb went on to say that many of the Giants pitcher were unhappy after Ohtani chose L.A., and spoke about it in the team group chat.

Do you blame them? Before, the Giants only had to deal with Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman, Max Muncy, and Will Smith, to name a few. Now, you add Ohtani into the mix, and it's a whole different ball game.

A dangerous lineup turned into possibly the most unstoppable lineup in baseball. One might say to themselves that the Dodgers didn't need this type of firepower to get over the hump, but the results say otherwise. The Dodgers have yet to sniff a World Series appearance since winning it in 2020.

Since then, it's been shortcoming after shortcoming, and L.A. is looking to change all that for the next decade. Adding Ohtani is not only a move the front office wanted to make, but it's a move they had to make.

This was the offseason to go all in. And the Dodgers didn't miss.
