Shohei Ohtani Gets Highest Praise From Dodgers President Andrew Friedman
The Dodgers' signing of two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani sent shockwaves throughout the baseball world. While many already knew that Ohtani could likely land with Los Angeles, its official happening became an entirely different story.
The biggest show in the sport today is now a member of the Dodgers, and he is already making waves throughout the organization. Ohtani's work ethic has been talked about at length, but it's his determination to be great that has impressed those in the clubhouse.
Dodgers president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman had some high praise for the two-way superstar. Like others, Friedman knew about how Ohtani was in his craft, but his dedication can only be appreciated up close.
“Obviously we knew his work ethic was top shelf, but to see how deliberate everything he does is, our training staff commented that they’ve never seen a guy returning from surgery that is so intentional about every single thing they do,” Dodgers president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman said. “From every swing he takes. Most guys kind of get in the cage and they just mindlessly swing. He does his whole pre-pitch routine between every pitch. Just how intentional every single thing he does is, whether it’s in the weight room, out on the field, that you can’t really fully appreciate until you see it.”

Having Ohtani around will only help the rest of the guys in the locker room as well. Whenever the best player on a team works the hardest, it makes others want to improve themselves.
The Dodgers will only benefit from having Ohtani around, and other players have already spoken about this. The team has yet to take the field for a game, but Ohtani has already made his imprint felt.
