We knew it had to happen at some point! Bo Naylor finally got his first career home run which came in a Cleveland Guardians rout over the Kansas City Royals.

Naylor came to the plate in the sixth inning with Myles Straw at first base. He wasted no time hitting a four-seam fastball on the outside of the strike zone out of the park.

This home run highlights what Bo does well at the plate. He didn't try to pull the pitch or swing out of his shoes. Naylor simply hit the pitch he was given and used his natural strength to put it over the wall.

Check out the homer here:

This would lead to a seven-run inning for the Guardians as they completely blew the game open.

The home run had an exit velo of 106.9 and carried 417 feet to center field. The home run would've left the park in 27/30 Major League ballparks.

Bo's older brother, Josh, was animated when he got his first Big League hit and even became emotional. The one who was waiting for Bo at the top step when he got to the top of the dugout was Josh.

This relationship continues to be one of the best stories in baseball!
