There are some players that you just half to watch live to truly appreciate their greatness. One of them is Jose Ramirez who probably still doesn't get the recognition he deserves from the rest of MLB.

Ramirez will never cease to amaze and continues to be one of the best players in MLB. He had a fantastic start to the season in the Cleveland Guardians first two seasons on the road and that continued in the team's Home Opener on Friday.

During his first at-bat, Ramirez ripped a ball past Eugenio Suarez at third base to get his first hit of the game.

This hit against Logan Gilbert and the Seattle Mariners is also now his 10th of the season. Ramirez has now recorded a hit in each of the first eight games of the 2023 season which is a nice hitting streak for the All-Star third baseman.

If you count last season, Jose has now gotten a hit in 13 straight games.

Hot starts are nothing new for Jose. In April/March of the 2022 season, he had an average of .342, in 2021 he had an average of .260 in the first month, and in 2020 he hit .429 through the first month of the season.

Jose clearly has some unfinished business after the Guardians were eliminated in the ALDS last season and he's wasted no time picking up right where he left off.
